libraries, all have a history to tell. If stones could talk...
...but they do! The grave of Captain Cook's wife, far away of
her husband, Christopher Wren's first building, the
insignia of the family Washington (which
inspired the American flag). If you know, where to search, you can
find everthing.

Some tourist
attractions...
Local market for handicraft
This singular market is face to face
with the historical Trinity College. It has been famous
for his friendly atmosphere for 20 years .Here you can get everything,
jewelry ,pottery, sculptures, photos, art-prints, pictures,
clothes and cheese. The Craft Fair (handicraft
market) is opened the whole year.
American Military Cemetery
This memorial was built for the many
courageous soldiers and women, who died during the second World
War. The green hill has over 3812 gravestones, and the
wall with the missed people has over 5000 names, in unknown graves.
There is also a chapel. The chapel has 5 posts, one for every
year that the Americans fought in the war
Park and swimming pool
Jesus green is a popular park near the
river. It's just a short way to the town centre. You can go to
the park across the streets behind the Round Church across
the Quayside Promenade. When the sun is shining , Jesus Green is full
of families and different groups. At night it's full of
drunken people from the "rat and parrot",
who, not rarely, vomit in the park. In July and August the town
council organizes jazz concerts and comedy events in a tent,
which is built especially for it. The swimming pool ,
in the near the watergate, is opened from Monday till Sunday in
the summer.
